Our Mission

We provide hope restoration with dignity to those in need through innovative programs and services.

Our Vision

Hope Villages of America will be One Organization of staff and volunteers, a Partner Agency working alongside government, local businesses, and other nonprofits, and the Third Place - a way of life, providing hope for those in need.

New Name. Same Focus!

In an effort to position us for long-term growth and expansion, while addressing the obscurity and lack of understanding as to who we are as a company, RCS Pinellas has become HOPE VILLAGES OF AMERICA, INC. This organizational moniker keeps us seamlessly aligned with our long-standing message of hope and hope restoration. It also embodies and communicates community ownership and collective obligation to address the needs of our neighbors with a wide variety of programs and services.

Providing help and hope to those in need is the common thread that binds all our programs and services together. As we continue to enhance our existing programs and services and expand our reach and the diversity programs and services, we remain committed to the enrichment and strengthening of our community.

About Hope Villages of America

For over 50 years, the Hope Villages of America (formerly RCS Pinellas) mission has been to support our neighbors facing hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, or a lack of basic needs. Staff and volunteers serve individuals and families with effective support and compassion. We help those in need that are the most vulnerable among us get back onto a path of self-sufficiency with dignity.

Hope Villages of America is a cooperative of professional staff members, integral volunteers, and partnering faith congregations of many denominations that have joined together to provide reliable services within Pinellas County. We continue to expand our efforts and outreach to those less fortunate that need a helping hand to rise above the challenges that have befallen them.

Hope Villages is an award-winning charity that maximizes every donation toward the recipients that need it. Our costs and overhead remain low and our effective results are high.

We function through the generosity of the kind-hearted individuals, groups, and businesses that support us and we flow that love directly on to the families that need and deserve another chance to find self-worth, self-improvement and self-sufficiency in today's world.

Here at Hope Villages, we are committed to supporting the most vulnerable among us. Our mission is hope restoration and the stabilization of our community. We appreciate you!

An award-winning charity, Hope Villages of America (formerly RCS Pinellas) is honored to have received the 2021 Gold Seal of Transparency from Guidestar, the 2020 Nonprofit of the Year by the Upper Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, the 2019 Biggest Community Impact award from Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, the 2018 Large Charity Business of the Year award by the Clearwater Regional Chamber, a Four Star Charity by Charity Navigator for the third year in a row, and a One Tampa Bay 2018 Honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Receiving four out of a possible four stars from Charity Navigator means that we consistently execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way. About 90% of expenses go to program services. This outperforms most other charities in America and demonstrates that we are worthy of your trust.
